Retrouvé is a luxury skincare line by the Kiehl’s heir Jami Morse Heidegger, developed by implementing advanced skincare technologies, high concentrations of anti-aging ingredients & a unique delivery system. Their eye treatment is rich in actives & formulated to hydrate, plump, brighten & protect the under eye area. The key active ingredients are:
+ Retinyl Palmitate: the least irritating retinoid which acts on evening out the texture & stimulates collagen production & prevents glycation to fight wrinkles.
+ Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12: this is a signaling-peptide which can significantly increase the amount of hyaluronic acid in the skin & improve the skin firmness.
+ Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate: a stable form of vitamin C that brightens the skin, paired with retinoids & squalane for enhanced effectiveness.
+ Ceramide NG: It improves the ability of skin to retain water & is paired with a blend of cholesterol & fatty acid esters to enhance it’s ability to restore lipid barrier.
+ Padina Thallus Extract + Jojoba Seed Oil: a moisturizing antiaging active which restores skin’s hydration by stimulating the natural synthesis of GAGs.
I’ve been using this eye treatment for 8 weeks, the consistency is balm-like & it glides on the skin. A mini pump is enough for both eyes (I put on my eyelids as well), it’s a bit oily when you apply it but absorbs completely in a minute; yet give it some time before applying eye makeup! It keeps my dry, dark lids & under eyes brightened, plump & super hydrated all day without causing any irritation. It’s too soon to evaluate the anti-aging effects; however the bumpy uneven texture under my eyes is much more smooth now, a result that I’ve never experienced with any other topical eye treatment!
In summary, this is a premium anti-aging eye treatment formulated with antioxidants, clinically measured concentrations of actives to hydrate, address fine lines, and even out the skin texture/tone around the eyes. Highly recommended to everyone specially people with dry under eyes!
