Eye Contour Gel-serum by African Botanics

This eye gel is one of the latest launches by African Botanics. It is supposed to improve skin hydration, depuff and tighten the skin around the eyes while reducing the look of dark circles:

1. One of the main ingredients in this product is a peptide complex designed specifically to depuff the eye area by reducing the oedema caused by the accumulation of interstitial liquids. Remember! The puffiness around the eyes can have multiple reasons & one of the major ones is fat accumulation so topical skincare can not do much about this type of puffiness; however, If the reason behind your eye bags is water accumulation, this de-puffing eye gel can bring great improvements by changing the micro-circulation.

2. To address dark circles they have formulated the powerful mix of Niacinamide and vitamin C (SAP) into this eye serum.

3. The eye treatment is potent with hydrating ingredients; Ceramides and fatty acids to hydrate & improve the ability of skin to retain water & reinforce the lipid barrier.

4. African Botanics products are always formulated with powerful antioxidants & anti-inflammatory ingredients and this eye gel is no exception.

The Eye Contour Gel-serum has a thick gel texture, a little goes a long way, I have dry under eyes and I wear the eye-gel during the day and at night I layer the African Botanics โ€œResurrection eye creamโ€, which is more occlusive, on top of it. It is lightweight, moisturizing & absorbs fast; I apply it on my eyelids as well, no irritation or milia so far, it feels refreshing and leaves the under eye area hydrated and tightened instantly.  I have received this eye gel lately, so far I really like it yet i need to experiment more with it, will keep you updated about the long term effects.
