This Bio cellulose mask shares some key ingredients with the 111skin’s Rose gold brightening mask; they are both hydrating, soothing & brightening. Though the Rose gold hydrogel mask contains some extra beneficial ingredients such as Niacinamide & Argireline; what makes the Bio cellulose mask special is well.. the Bio cellulose!
Bio cellulose is a natural nano-fiber material, synthesized through bacteria. There are some physical properties that set bio cellulose apart as a premium material for facial treatments:
1. It is extremely hydrophilic (water-loving) & has a high fluid-holding capacity.
2. The microfibers in bio cellulose fabrics are tightly intertwined so it adheres tightly to the face gently raising skin temperature which opens pores & allows transfer of moisture.
So the Bio cellulose mask enables deeper and targeted hydration to the dermis, locks moisture into skin and encourages superior penetration of active ingredients.
The Bio cellulose mask is a hydrating mask which works great to combat eczema and dryness. I have combo skin and use this mask whenever I over-exfoliate or after facial peels. However, in comparison with other 111skin masks, this one is just okay and I’m sooo glad they upgraded this mask to the 𝐘 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐦 𝐁𝐢𝐨 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 mask! They reformulated the Bio cellulose mask by adding stronger & more effective ingredients such as NAC Y2, the 111skin’s signature healing formula. I haven’t tried this new mask yet but judging by the ingredients, combined with the superior properties of Bio cellulose, it should be amazing!
