I’ve been focusing on finding the perfect cleanser/toner for my skin for the past few months, will share my reviews of all products gradually and hope you find them useful. I have combination, acne-prone and weirdly sensitive skin and these are my latest Cleanser & toner picks:โฃ

Contrary to popular belief, I donโt think the iSClinical cleansing complex is a gentle cleanser, donโt get me wrong, itโs not harsh or stripping and it cleanses the skin perfectly; however, itโs not suitable for dry/sensitive skin. โฃThis gel cleanser pairs perfectly with the Zo skinโs pH balancing, calming toner to give you that clean feeling without damaging the barrier or tightening the skin. If you have acne this combination is for you, the duo works okay on keeping black heads at bay though.โฃ

The ZO cleanser is also a gel cleanser, it is gentle and cleanses the skin really well, less powerful than the iSClinicalโs, suitable for sensitive skin. The Obagi toner is a strong 2% Salicylic acid toner, it has a menthol scent (which I do not mind), it feels cooling when you apply it, I recommend 2 pumps every application every 2 days if you are new to acids and then work your way up.โฃ Now this is my favorite pair, since the toner is powerful Iโd rather use a gentle cleanser, this duo works fantastic for minimizing the look of pores and clearing out blackheads! If you have acne-prone oily or combo skin this is for you, BUT you should be using the duo at most every other day or you are going to destroy your skin barrier! Remember to patch test the Obagi toner!
